Zermatt
Have you ever visited somewhere and felt like you are literally in a dream? Well, i felt that when visiting Zermatt. Back in 2023, we visited Switzerland. One day of our trip, of course had to be dedicated to seeing THE MATTERHORN! Something that was in fact on my bucket list. We got the train into Zermatt as there are no cars allowed! Upon arrival we were greeted with story book houses, bustling streets and the sun beaming down. Although the Town is beautiful, we didn't stay in the there for long. We headed out the centre towards the Matterhorn! My word it didn't disappoint!
Prior to the trip I'd reached out to some travel content creators that had taken some incredible photos in front of the Matterhorn, they told me the secret spot so of course i just HAD to take some photographs there!
I could have stayed in that spot ALL day long.
Now, sometimes the Matterhorn can be covered in cloud so you can't actually see the top. We were SO lucky and picked the perfect day to go, we could see the very top for the entire day!
We took a hike up around the surrounding mountains and my goodness, it was a walk I will never ever forget.
So, if the Matterhorn is on your bucket list, I 100% recommend you GO! It really is more beautiful than the pictures.
