Tom & Samaneh
An august, classic, timeless wedding
A PERFECT summers day in mid August. Lilies, soft colours and gentle lace, Tom and Sam's wedding was a consistent timeless style with soft cultural nods to Sam's Iranian heritage. Statement Lily bouquets stole the show and Sam's amazing veil elevated her look to a whole new level. The day began at the Bride and Groom's home where my second shooter and I captured the bride getting ready for the big day. Not only did we capture her getting ready, we captured details like her dress, the baskets she had made for her bridesmaids and her wedding day perfume.
The day then continued with a service at the church they attend. Soon after, the couple stole away for their photographs at a beautifully curated garden in the grounds of a grand house near the infamous Dunham Massey. With perfect lighting, their couples photos were the most perfect balance of classy but fun.
As evening fell, the 2nd venue came alive with traditional Iranian dancing and music. Laughter and music filled the air as guests danced around the dance floor, purple lights flashing and fair lights twinkling. It was a joyful, heartwarming day, completely filled with love. They both show that love speaks ALL languages.
