A Timeless Summer Wedding with Elegant Iranian Touches
Tom & Sam’s wedding was the definition of timeless elegance - a perfect summer’s day in mid-August filled with soft colours, delicate lace, and thoughtful nods to Sam’s Iranian heritage.
From the very beginning, every detail felt beautifully considered. Statement lily bouquets stole the show, while Sam’s incredible veil elevated her bridal look to something truly unforgettable. The morning began at the couple’s home, where my second shooter and I documented the quiet excitement of the preparations. Alongside capturing Sam getting ready, we photographed the meaningful details she had carefully chosen for the day - from her dress and wedding perfume to the handmade baskets she created for each of her bridesmaids.
The ceremony took place at the church the couple attend, surrounded by family, friends, and so much love. Afterwards, we slipped away for portraits in the beautifully curated gardens of a grand house near Dunham Massey. With soft golden light and elegant surroundings, their couples portraits felt like the perfect balance of sophisticated and joyful - timeless, yet full of personality.
As evening fell, the second venue came alive with traditional Iranian music and dancing. Guests filled the dance floor as laughter echoed through the room, purple lights flashed overhead, and fairy lights twinkled in the background. The atmosphere was vibrant, emotional, and completely unforgettable.
It was such a joyful and heartwarming day, filled with love in every form - a beautiful reminder that love truly speaks every language.
